Conditions We Treat
Asthma, cough, chronic cough, and shortness of breath affect nearly 262 million people globally. This chronic disease causes difficulty in breathing due to inflammation of air passages that carry oxygen to the lungs. Symptoms can include wheezing, coughing, and chest tightness.
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease encompasses both chronic bronchitis and also emphysema. Symptoms include shortness of breath and persistent cough. There are 4 stages of this disease that can be treated with medications or changes in lifestyle.
A lung mass is defined as an abnormal spot in the lungs that is more than 3 cm in size. If a spot is less than 3 cm in diameter, it is referred to as a lung nodule.
